Kementerian Perindustrian mengatakan PT Krakatau Nippon Steel Sumikin (KNSS) akan mulai mengoperasikan galvanis pabrik baja di Cilegon, Banten, pada bulan September tahun ini. Kementerian direktur jenderal industri logam, mesin, peralatan transportasi dan industri elektronik, I Gusti Putu Suryawirawan; mengatakan bahwa pabrik yang akan memiliki kapasitas produksi tahunan sekitar 500.000 ton.
