Research in Motion (RIM), in order to strengthen the images of its products, decided to change their company brand name into BlackBerry. RIM believes the name is more promising.
“One brand, one promise,” said Thorsten Heins, Blackberry CEO in BlackBerry 10 launch event on Wednesday (30/1).
According to Heins, the turnover reflected the strength of the BlackBerry brand in the consumers. “We make the BlackBerry, we are working on the BlackBerry,” Heins said to an audience that comes.
With that change, the RIM will gradually change the name of either the operating system (OS), products and companies. These three things will be put together with the same brand.
