The Refund of IDR 11 Billion by The Former Regent of Bantul
The puzzles about the refunds totaling IDR 11 billion into the coffers of Bantul Regency, finally answered.
Refunds carried out by former Bantul Regent, Idham Samawi. The money transfer was done on Thursday, March 6, 2014 through the BPD Bantul Bank sent from Danamon Bank in Jakarta.
It is delivered by Didik Warsito, head of Department of revenue and Asset Manager area of Bantul Regency. Didik Warsito explained, the returns evidenced by credit notes on behalf of Idham Samawi.
He did not know for sure in which specified areas the fund transfer by Idham. But by the checking of transactions that he does, that money comes from Danamon Bank Jakarta sent to BPD Bantul Bank in cash.
In the description of credit notes were also mentioned, the money is a refund for any one could expect losses related to the case of state or Persiba grants.
“Actually there is no certainty of Attorney higher or auditors that the IDR 11 billion from the grants of Persiba. He was just returning that any one could expect only to cash,” said Didik on Wednesday March 12, 2014.
Didik claimed to have checked the truth of such a refund today. Earlier, he claimed to not know if there is a refund from Idham Samawi.
“I have this check. After a reporter asked recently I checked because I didn’t know anyway,” he added.
