The uncertainty surrounding the venue for BTS’s Arirang world tour concert in Jakarta has finally been resolved after promoters confirmed that the event will be held at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

Earlier reports had suggested Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) as a possible location, but iMe Indonesia announced on Friday that GBK will officially host the two-day concert scheduled for December 26 and 27, 2026.

“BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN JAKARTA – Show announcement! 26 & 27 December 2026 Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium,” the promoter said via its official Instagram account.

The announcement marks a significant milestone for the group’s return to Indonesia, with iMe Indonesia collaborating with global concert promoter Live Nation to handle production. Live Nation has previously managed major Arirang tour stops in Latin America and Europe.

The Jakarta show will be only the second standalone BTS concert in Indonesia, following their Wings Tour performance at ICE BSD on April 29, 2017. It will also mark the first time the group performs at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, one of the country’s largest venues.

The concert is also notable as BTS is expected to appear as a full group for the first time in Jakarta in nine years, although individual members such as J-Hope and Suga have previously visited Indonesia for solo projects.

Ticketing for the event will be divided into five main categories, with prices ranging from Rp1.8 million to Rp4.5 million, excluding taxes and administrative fees. VIP Package tickets are priced at Rp4,500,000 and offer the closest access to the main stage on the field area. Platinum Floor or Lower Tribune tickets are priced at Rp3,650,000, while CAT 1 tickets in the lower tribune are set at Rp2,800,000. CAT 2 seats in the upper tribune cost Rp2,300,000, and CAT 3 in the uppermost sections are priced at Rp1,800,000.

Organisers confirmed that the concert will adopt a 360-degree stage format, similar to previous performances in Goyang, Seoul, allowing audiences from all sides of the stadium to view the show.

VIP ticket holders will receive additional benefits, including access to the soundcheck session, VIP laminate and lanyard, official poster, exclusive merchandise package, and priority access to official merchandise booths. Other ticket categories will include an official ticket and a commemorative poster.

Ticket sales will begin with registration through the Weverse platform. Registration for the Weverse ARMY Membership Presale opens on Friday at 12:00 WIB and closes on Wednesday at 10:00 WIB. Eligible fans will then be able to join the presale on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 12:00 WIB to 22:00 WIB.

General ticket sales will open on Thursday, June 11, 2026, starting at 12:00 WIB, with all transactions processed through tiket.com as the official ticketing partner.

The announcement positions Jakarta as one of the key stops in BTS’s global tour and is expected to draw significant international attention and tourism activity as one of the largest entertainment events in Indonesia in 2026.
